• Compliance with Laws: Obscure Tails will not knowingly sell or ship animals to any state, county, or municipality where ownership is restricted or prohibited. While we make reasonable efforts to verify legality, it is solely the buyer’s responsibility to research, understand, and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations prior to purchase.

• Buyer Responsibility: By completing a purchase, the buyer affirms that they are legally permitted to own the animal(s) in their jurisdiction and that all required permits, licenses, or documentation have been obtained. Obscure Tails assumes no responsibility or liability for any legal issues arising from unlawful ownership.

• Assumption of Risk (Venomous Animals): The purchase, handling, and care of venomous animals carries inherent risks. By purchasing venomous species, the buyer acknowledges and fully assumes all risks, including but not limited to injury, envenomation, or death.

• Liability Waiver: Obscure Tails shall not be held liable for any injuries, bites, envenomations, damages, medical expenses, or other losses resulting from the possession, handling, or care of any animal sold.

• Indemnification: The buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Obscure Tails, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, legal actions, or expenses arising from the purchase, ownership, transport, or use of any animal.

• No Guarantees Beyond Stated Terms: All animals are sold in good faith and in accordance with stated terms at the time of sale. No additional guarantees or warranties are expressed or implied unless explicitly provided in writing.
